Obi Kelvin Ezenyili, born on October 1, 1984, in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria, is the Mayor of Asaba and the Executive Chairman of Oshimili South Local Government Area. He hails from Oko Amakom Village and comes from a family with a notable background. Ezenyili holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Administration, graduating with Second Class Upper-Division from Igbinedion University.
He pursued postgraduate studies in Internet Technology and Political Science/Public Administration at the University of Ghana, University of York, and the University of Manchester.
Ezenyili is a research scholar with expertise in Political Science, Public Administration, Comparative Politics, and Democratic Governance. He received an Alumni Distinguished Award of Excellence in 2016 from Igbinedion University.
As an author, his work focuses on democracy and good governance in Nigeria, emphasizing transparency and accountability.
Throughout his career, Ezenyili has served in various capacities at both local and state government levels. He worked at Delta Broadcasting Service during his National Youth Service and later held positions such as Supervisor, Special Duties and Agriculture in Oshimili South Local Government Council. He also served as Special Assistant (Special Duties) to the Executive Governor of Delta State and later as Senior Special Assistant Youth Monitoring and Mentoring.
